The Honest Liar Debuts!

And so we begin: the debut podcast of For Good Reason, hosted by D.J. Grothe, the new President of the James Randi Educational Foundation, and previously the host of the Point of Inquiry podcast. And I am very excited to be contributing a weekly feature to For Good Reason entitled “The Honest Liar.”
The program is a co-production of the JREF, and so it’s appropriate that DJ’s first guest is the Amazing One himself, James Randi. And so my choice of opening topic for this week’s Honest Liar segment is how Randi informed and inspired my life as an “honest liar,” and what it means to be one.
In my commentary I mention Randi’s book, The Magic of Uri Geller, which today is available under the title of The Truth About Uri Geller, and can be found here.
I also discuss The Discoverie of Witchcraft by Reginald Scot.
You can listen to the podcast here, but please go to www.forgoodreason.org and subscribe via iTunes – and tell your friends, too. Hope you enjoy our maiden voyage!
